Color Trends for 2023 – According to Experts

It’s time to look at the colour trends for 2023. Our houses’ colour schemes are a powerful reflection of our personalities and preferences. While some individuals choose to decorate their houses with timeless and traditional paint colours, others want to be a little bolder and use colourful colour tones.

The top paint brands in the world choose their Color of the Year each year, and they then publish their Color Forecast. selecting a single colour that is currently in style together with a colour palette that properly complements the colour of the year.

In our houses, these popular paint hues don’t just appear on the walls. But they can be seen in many forms of art, including technology, graphic design, and even fashion. Compared to last year’s colour trends, this year’s colour palettes are richer, but nature continues to be our source of colour inspiration.

Yellow

Like any other colour, yellow may be found in a wide range of hues. a rich orange yellow to a very faint pastel yellow. Warm yellow hues are also becoming more prevalent in houses all across the world.

Raspberry Blush

Raspberry Blush has been selected by Benjamin Moore as the 2023 Color of the Year. Raspberry Blush is a jovial coral colour with pink undertones. And the statement is all up to you; you can use this hue as a dramatic accent colour or you can go all out and paint an entire room in it.

Green

Redend Point

Redend Point has been selected by Sherwin Williams as their colour for 2023. Warm blush beige, or Redend Point, can be used as a warm accent colour when combined with paler hues. However, you may also use it as a cosy neutral in any area of your house.

Wild Wonder has been selected as the year’s colour by paint manufacturer Dulux for 2023. Natural golden colour called Wild Wonder can help you bring the outside inside.

The 2023 Dulux colour trends are heavily influenced by nature, and as such, four complementary colour palettes full of (natural) colours that may be paired with Wild Wonder have also been selected.

According to Gene Fitzgeral, an interior designer at Best Osmosis Systems, “Gray and tan colors are a hot trend right now, and I think they will continue to be popular as we move into 2023. These hues are perfect for creating a calming and neutral atmosphere in any room, while still offering plenty of flexibility when it comes to accessorizing.”
